Piper was a delightful 3 month old Collie X who was found in an absolutely terrible state. She was most likely hit by a car and her owners had left her to suffer without any medical attention. She was paralysed in her back legs and got around by dragging her back paws such that they were rubbed raw. She was rescued by Pat & Ed who immediately brought her to the vet. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for her and she was put to sleep that evening.

This sort of cruelty is unacceptable and while the outcome of the rescue had a very sad ending, we hope that by publishing this story that it may help create awareness and stop similar incidents from taking place.
