Pepsi
Pepsi was found in Co Roscommon and he looked a lot different than he looks now. Found starved, with a matted coat and very nervous he was taken in by one of the volunteers with the sanctuary. A few days later he had problems walking and standing up and when brought to the vet it was discovered that Pepsi had been shot 27 times in the back with a pellet gun. While some of the pellets still remain in him the damaging ones were removed and Pepsi recovered 100%. He now lives with us and our other dog Dino. He is extremely intelligent and has brought so much joy to our house and our lives. He is faithful and ever watchful... typical collie! While he gets on well with our hens and cats now he did eat our first cockerel – feather evidence was found in his kennel! But we have forgiven him that now and are just very grateful that he was rescued and look forward to many more years and walks with him!
