Large gold and white collie cross Shep himself made the decision to become one of Briarfield's long-term residents. He came to us 3 years ago (he is possibly 6/8 yrs old) He was a stray, with his "wife" & children, 5 beautiful pups.
The puppies were quickly rehomed so too was Sophie his wife. However
efforts to rehome Shep failed as on 4 occasions he ran away from his
new home or stoutly refused to get in the car with potential new owners
.!!!!!
We realised he was trying to tell us something.
As time has gone by we realise that
He is perfectly happy here with us & all the other long stay residents
so we will not try to find him a new home now but let him live out his
life here at Briarfields.
