When Floyd came to us 2 years ago someone had probably kicked him,
as a result several of his teeth had to be removed.
In addition, there was damage to his windpipe, to this day he breathes
with a snorting sound.
Worst of all, one of his front paws had been deliberately tied under
his collar presumably to stop him chasing sheep or cars.
(This is a frequently practised procedure known as "hobbling")
!!!!!!
Unfortunately the result was that his whole leg wasted away &
he still has a severe limp. He has a wonderful loving nature.
However, as one of our "forever friends" he lives here happily.
He can still run & chase though often gets a little tired. He
adores cuddles.
As he has been with us so long we would not consider rehoming him
now & he will spend the rest of his days here.
